Fit and placement

Measure your crate’s usable interior floor and compare it with the pad’s dimensions before ordering. A nominal 42-inch crate label does not guarantee fit. Compare the sleeping area with your dog’s resting measurements rather than relying only on breed or weight labels.

Place on a dry, stable surface and check for movement; the bottom does not guarantee the pad cannot slide. This is bedding, not a treatment for anxiety or joint conditions. If used during travel, it does not replace an appropriate pet restraint.

Unpacking and care

After unpacking, allow approximately 24 hours for the filling to expand, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Keep packaging away from pets.

Follow the care label for machine washing and drying. Use a dryer only if the label permits it, and dry the filling thoroughly before reuse. Do not assume the pad has a removable cover or waterproof protection.

Inspect regularly and remove if your dog tears the fabric, exposes filling, or swallows loose material. This pad is not chew-proof.
